How to Load and Reload an Easytrip RFID Card

Traveling is an essential activity for most Filipinos. It allows them to travel from their homes to their schools, work, or any desired location. To make this easier, mobility solutions like RFID stickers have become available. Through this, travelers can experience smooth, hassle-free travel that boosts their productivity and, in turn, the country’s economy.

 

 

What is an RFID sticker?

 

RFID stickers are electronic tags placed on a vehicle's windshield or plate number. In the Philippines, Easytrip and Autosweep are electronic toll collection systems that use RFID stickers. Easytrip is used on tollways that are managed by the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, such as the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), the C5 Link Flyover, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX). On the other hand, the Autosweep is used for tollways operated by the San Miguel Corporation (SMC) like the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR Tollway), NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), Skyway, Skyway Stage 3, Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), and Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX). As of this year, travelers can now register their Easytrip RFID stickers to pass on SMC tollways. This is possible through Easytrip’s new "Neology RFID stickers."

 

 

What is Easytrip RFID, how it works & its main purpose?

 

Easytrip RFID stickers are electronic tags placed on vehicles. Before entering a toll gate, an RFID scanner will read it, and once scanned, the system will deduct the toll fee from the user's account. This system allows travelers to have cashless transactions, which results in a more convenient and faster journey.

 

 

How to obtain an RFID Sticker for Your Car?

 

Obtaining an Easytrip RFID sticker for your car is an easy task. A motorist just needs to go to the nearest Easytrip installation sites with their vehicle, fill out the registration form, and pay an initial fee. To make the process faster, you can download the registration form online, fill it out at home, and bring it on the day of your appointment. Once done with the process, a staff member will place the Easytrip RFID sticker on the vehicle. To avoid long lines, applicants are advised to arrive early.

 

Easytrip has also launched the Online RFID Reservation and Appointment System, or ORRAS, so that applicants will have an option wherein they can pre-book a schedule when obtaining Easytrip RFID stickers. All they have to do is scan the Easytrip QR code in NLEX, CAVITEX, and CALAX, as well as those that are found on the official website, Instagram, and Facebook. After that, they need to fill out the registration and choose their desired location, time, and date. An email with a confirmation code will be sent to the applicant, which must be presented on the day of the installation.

 

Travelers who are passing through MPTC expressways as well as Autosweep-only toll gates are advised to obtain an RFID sticker as soon as possible to have a more convenient traveling experience.

 

 

Where to Load & How to Check RFID Balance?

 

Once you have an Easytrip sticker, your balance will depend on how much you paid during registration. To make sure that you can travel without worrying, through a variety of methods, which include:

  1. Add your Easytrip RFID account to the app
  2. Select the RFID tab and select the top-up button.
  3. Select the Easytrip RFID account you wish to load and input the amount you want to reload into your wallet.
  4. Add a new card if you haven't added your payment method; otherwise, select the mode of payment from the available merchants.
     
     
• Easytrip Kiosk
  
  1. Select Reload Easytrip RFID Account.
  2. Click "Yes" to agree to the Data Privacy Policy.
  3. Enter your Easytrip Accout number, mobile number and load amount.
  4. Click "Yes" if you agree to the service fee "No" if you don't agree.
  5. Review your details
  6. Select mode of payment. Insert money for Cash transaction.
     Note: The machine do not dispense change.

• Online Banking/E-wallet
  
  1. Log in to your digital wallet or online bank.
  2. Choose the Pay Bills or Bill Payment option.
  3. Select Easytrip as your biller.
  4. Fill in the account number or subscriber part with your Easytrip RFID account number.
  5. Enter the desired amount to load and confirm the payment.
     
     
• BPI
  
  1. Log in to your BPI online account.
  2. Click "Payments/Load" in the menu bar and select "Load e-wallet."
  3. Select Easytrip RFID
  4. Fill in all the required details in the form.
  5. Click "Confirm" to finish the transaction.
  6. Enter your one-time pin (OTP) that will be sent via text message.

  1. Look for the CLIQQ machine.
  2. On the screen, select "Bills Payment" and click "Easytrip"
  3. Enter your 12-digit Easytrip RFID account number, mobile number, and the reload amount.
  4. Verify that all information is correct.
  5. Wait for the receipt and pay at the cashier
     
     
• Text
  
  1. Type EASY [DENOM] [12-digit RFID account number] and send it to 3279.
  2. Once successful, you will receive a confirmation message.
     
     
• G-Cash
  
  1. On your Dashboard, tap Pay Bills" or "Show More" to view additional options.
  2. Tap "Transportation" from the list of billers in Bills Payment.
  3. Tap "EASYTRIP RFID" to select the biller.
  4. Fill up the mandatory fields and tap "Next" to proceed with payment.

 

 

Checking your Easytrip RFID balance

 

If you want to ensure that you have successfully loaded your account or have sufficient balance for your trip, you can use the following options:

• MPT DriveHub app
  
  1. Install the app and click "Sign Up" to create an account.
  2. Fill in the necessary information, and once done, you will receive an OPT verification code via text message confirming your registration.
  3. Once done, log in to your account and click "ADD RFID" under the RFID section.
  4. Enter your Easytrip account number, card number, and location of your RFID sticker.
  5. After enrolling, your Easytrip balance will be shown on the dashboard.

Reloading your Easytrip RFID

  1. At the TouchPay machine screen, select Easytrip.
  2. Enter the 12-digit Easytrip RFID Account number, e.g. 520007777777.
  3. The machine will verify your account and check your remaining balance.
  4. Once account number is validated, the screen will show remaining balance. Select Payment to proceed to the reloading process.
  5. Insert the money bill/s in the money slot one by one.
  6. After validating, the expected amount of reload will appear on the portion of Amount Inserted. Click Pay to proceed.
  7. Choose Print for a copy of the reload receipt. Note: Obtain a copy of the receipt until reload is confirmed for security purposes.
  8. A screen confirming transaction is completed will appear.
     **Minimum reload amount is P500. Machine will not accept coins and fraudulent money.

  1. Go to any ECPay reloading partner

  4. An acknowledgement receipt will be given to you as proof of transaction.

  2. Select “PAY”
  3. Choose “Easytrip RFID”

  5. Enter amount and click "PROCEED".
  6. Review payment details and click Confirm & Request TAC.
  7. Enter TAC (Transaction Authorization Code) and click "OK".

  1. Log in to the BPI Mobile app and go to "Payments/Load."
  2. Select "Load e-wallet."
  3. Fill in the details and select an e-wallet.
  4. Confirm the details of your transaction then click on "Confirm."
  5. Enter your Mobile Key PIN, fingerprint, or face ID to approve, then select "Submit."
     Note: A loading fee may be deducted from your account depending on the e-wallet you select.
• Robinsons Bank

    1. Open your Bank Digital app
    2. Tap on PAYMENT located at the menu bar then select MAKE A NEW PAYMENT
    3. Choose TRANSPORTATION BILLER

    5. Fill out your details then tap the CONFIRM button
    6. Review your payment details on the screen

  1. Go to the nearest Robinsons Bank branch and fills up Bills Payment Slip. Indicates the following information:

  2. Provide the Bills Payment Slip to teller for processing.
  3. Once processed, the teller will provide validated deposit slip to payor as proof of transaction

  1. On the Grab app homepage. tap 'More' to select 'Bills' tile.
  2. Select 'Easytrip' merchant
  3. Enter your Account No. and the amount of payment. Tap 'Enter' to review the details, then select 'Confirm'
  4. Check your GrabPay balance. If it's sufficient, tap 'Pay' to complete the payment.
  5. Wait for a few seconds to confirm the successful transaction.
  6. Once payment is confirmed as successful.
